Anja Dietmann’s performance uses self-composed songs to address linguistic misunderstandings in texts that are composed of wordplay. Through body language, which is employed as a parallel narrative to the vocals, and through the integration of self-made props into the performance, such as glasses made from bike cat’s eyes, ephemeral images and sculptures are created that sometimes underline and sometimes counteract the musical content.show more
