Freiheitsritual - Agustín Rincón Mendéz

Freiheitsritual is the first solo exhibition by Venezuelan artist Agustín Rincón Méndez in the city of Zurich. The exhibition depicts experts from a continuous creative process which is in a rhizomatic relationship with its socio-economic context, with the materials, with the city itself, and with the artist’s own subjectivity.
For the duration of the show, the artist will maintain an open-studio approach within the gallery space. He will work on new pieces and reorganize the works on display. As a result, the exhibition presented on the day of the finissage might look completely different from the one shown on the opening day.
