Ata Kam - Fail Books

Ata Kam founder of ’Fail books’ [www.failfail.fail], an artisan publisher from Istanbul, will be present until saturday at Material, to showcase some of his publications and discuss potential projects with zürich-based artists. Feel free to come with a visual project - printed or on a laptop - to go deeper into the body of work as well as discuss and experiment in order to develop the project.
Discussions on:
– Reflection and analysis on visual language
– A project triangle: author, objectives and audience
– Key-image and visual strategy
– Project and book concept
– Editing and structure of storytelling for the book project
– Different possibilities and methods of book construction
