SWIT Platform and Take 10 Press invite you on Friday 20 March, between 15:00–17:00 at Lagerhusets Bibliotek, Gothenburg, for the opening of FOLDED CITIES, an itinerant exhibition with self-published photobooks by Italian and Nordic artists.
The exhibition is spread throughout the shelves of Lagerhusets Bibliotek, a public library in Gothenburg. Photobooks sit side by side with the library's regular collection. No hierarchies, books are books! The idea is to present such a niche object, the photobook, in a public context where the audience extends beyond the usual photography field. People don't expect to encounter photobooks here, and we're very interested in seeing their reactions. Thank you Lagerhuset for trusting us in this experiment!
