Founded in 2017, Sit+Read Artbook Fair is a free and open multi-day event that brings together contemporary artists, designers, zine makers, printmakers, independent publishers, art book distributors as well as hundreds of visitors each year. The fair includes a varied accompanying program for both children and adults, composed of a diverse range of talks, discussions, book launches, workshops and off-site special projects.
We are welcoming artists, collectives, studios and artist-run initiatives, zine makers and publishing houses, small presses, independent bookshops, and any creators, both from Romania and abroad.
Each edition showcases the best artist books, diy publications, zines, comics, illustrations, prints, t-shirts, ceramics and more.
