The exhibition titled SEVENTY carries layered symbolic meaning. In scripture, seventy appears in moments of spiritual instruction from the call to forgive "seventy times", to the seventy disciples sent out in pairs. Numerically, seventy combines the symbolic qualities of seven (perfection) and ten (completeness). Though the exhibition is not strictly biblical, these associations inform the conceptual framework guiding the work.
The series consists of seventy abstract artworks, of wich nine are presented in the exhibition.
