This book is the long-awaited collection of works by Smiljan Radić, a Chilean architect representative of architects from South America. Radić is a unique artist, working in the fields of not only architecture but also sculpture and video. The book features his masterpiece, the “Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2014”, and 18 other works, including his latest projects. It introduces his thought process by using all different photos and illustrations, including artwork, drawings, study models, architectural drawings, and photos of completed buildings/projects. In the correspondence with Sou Fujimoto at the end of the book, Fujimoto asks questions that delve into the fundamentals of architecture and reveal Radić's deep architectural philosophy.
