July, 2018. A group of artists, writers, art historians, publishers, graphic designers*, meets at the Kandinsky Library, at the Centre Pompidou to share their work on and with artists’ publications. One year later—the buckram-bound Journal de l’Université d’été captures within its pages the very diversity of their researches and energies, with contributions dealing with Ovum and ramona, Ettore Sottsass, the Tolstoy college, A-Ya, Bern Porter . . . Well, more or less everything you always wanted to know about artists’ publications but were afraid to ask.
