In his first artists‘ book OCR (deconstruction), which was published in a circulation of 30 copies, the Austrian artist Ulrich Nausner reinterprets the anti-novel Die Verbesserung von Mitteleuropa, Roman („The Improvement of Central Europe, a Novel”), which already in the 1960s broke with all literary conventions. Following an invitation by the artist collective Traumawien, Nausner used the digitalized version of the otherwise unobtainable novel and edited the script by minimizing the font size to 1pt.
