Work Description
Paradox Plaza Ebony Maurice-Wilmott, Luka Rhoderick, Kavan Balasuriya, Robin Meier Wiratunga, Jade Cargill, Grace Harré Lionel Wendt Gallery, Colombo, Sri Lanka 29.01.26 – 31.01.26. Paradox Plaza is a group exhibition containing a variety of artworks that mediate between information transmission and the impossibility of translation. Through a plurality of mediums such as painting, print-making, sculpture, sound, and thread work, the artists evidence this paradox through holding unlikely terms within the work, music and colour, inscription and temporality, haptic and optic perception, bridges between near and far, and sculptural desire and reality.
