Publisher Note
The series Picture Library draws on the same source as Other People’s Photographs – the vast and ever-growing pool of popular photographs found in online photo hosting sites. While the earlier series of books explored recurring patterns in everyday photography, the subsequent series focuses on individual particularities, obsessions, and approaches, highlighting various inventories of people’s lives and environments. The series of images assembled between 2014 and 2021 comprised 44 of these idiosyncratic vernacular taxonomies. The book now available expands the selection to 90 chapters.
