Work Description
You can’t learn Pogo. Pogo is do-it-yourself. There’s no right or wrong—rules contradict ecstasy. Whoever dances Pogo isn’t just moving to punk music. They’re part of it, they belong to it. Improvisation full of gaps and exciting in-betweens. In “POGO”, a brush grabs a mannequin as a stencil. What’s left behind are dissolving figures, their limbs shooting like arrows in every direction. Every page, every sheet, every space is taken over by foreign characters that refuse to stay still: pure action lines—direct, rough, and thrown onto paper as fast as tags on walls. 1-2-3-4.
