Work Description

This work is a reflection on the theme of silence, as a suspension of time. Each part of this book was handmade by Valentino Barachini.

Notes

The folder contains 3 polymer photogravures by Valentino Barachini numbered and signed and 1 etching by Melania Vaiani numbered and signed; 1 booklet in 12 pages with 5 photos (b/w) and 1 drawing (b/w), 3 texts + 1 extra-book photo.
The photogravures are printed on a pure cotton paper 30 x 25 cm. Photogravure's plate dimensions: 12 x 15 cm.
These polymer photogravures have been realized by the ancient photomechanical process that transfers the photographic negative on a zinc plate, thus producing an incision in relief whence is printed the photo. The photogravures were pulled by hand in 25 copies on pure cotton paper Rosaspina Fabriano.
