Publisher Note

This book focuses on the boundary between private and public life in the dairy scenes of Taiwan.
The photos were taken in public spaces like streets, parks, and accessible commercial areas.
Having lived in Taiwan for about two years, I’ve noticed that the distinction between private and public life here differs from my native Japan.
Taiwan's landscape blurs these boundaries, allowing for a unique experience of connecting with strangers in the city and appreciating these differences.
