The Yearbook of Type #6 2022/23 presents 500 pages of current typefaces, a wonderful collection for all those involved in typography.
Each typeface and type family is presented on a double page spread, exemplarily applied on the left, inspired by this year's theme "Movie" (playlist in the book). On the right, there are detailed descriptions of the design features as well as information about the designers. A supplementary online microsite presents all the typefaces with direct links to the respective purchase options.
Essays, interviews, and tutorials on type design and contemporary typography round out the publication. In the index, the typefaces are clearly sorted by class and designer.
