Publisher Note
Fifty thousand people in Italy and millions around the world live in prison, in a balance of imposed and self-imposed codes, indecipherable for those who do not know detention.
Once the codes have been overcome, there remain only men and women trying to survive.
Marco Delogu portrayed the inmates of the Rebibbia prison (which in this context is not the prison of Rome but represents the "universal" prison, a symbol without a nation), investigating the relationship between people and the environment that surrounds them.
