The collaboration Danče Deluxe between the German artist Olaf Nicolai and the Dubrovnik based sculptor Mariana Pende is an homage to one of the last refuges of the local Dubrovnik population – the Danče Beach – a meeting place of generations and summer outdoor life. The publication features fragments of the imaginary architectural space of Danče Beach that was reenacted 2023 in a joint exhibition at Meštrović-Pavillon in Zagreb.

Das gemeinsame Ausstellungsprojekt Danče Deluxe von Olaf Nicolai (DE) und der in Dubrovnik lebenden Bildhauerin Mariana Pende ist eine Hommage an einen der letzten Rückzugsorte der lokalen Bevölkerung von Dubrovnik – den Strand Danče – einem Treffpunkt für verschiedene Generationen und einem Hotspot im Sommeralltag der Stadt im Freien. Die Publikation zeigt Fragmente des imaginären architektonischen Raums des Danče-Strandes, der 2023 in einer gemeinsamen Ausstellung im Meštrović-Pavillon in Zagreb nachgebildet wurde.
