"Die Übergänge sind rätselhaft" deals with the dualism of nature and technology, animate and inanimate, construction and organism, design and given. The book gathers drawings of various constructions of landscape such as gardens and parks, but also virtual representations of nature in computer games or 3D simulations. The drawings are an attempt to create a neutral plane that dissolves and questions the opposites of natural and artificial, virtual and real. A plane of enigmatic transitions rather than one of confrontation.
