"This publication is an interpretation of Jean-Luc Godard’s “La Chinoise” by Claire Vague collaborating with Atlas Studio. The film, based loosely on Doestoevsky’s 1872 novel The Possessed, follows five young Maoist revolutionaries in 1960s Paris. The text of La Chinoise Decoupage is in French, and the book includes minute-by-minute commentary for the film, as well as photocopy collages.
Claire Vague is an independent artist-run platform based in Switzerland that shows and sells clothes (it also organizes cultural events, exhibitions and produces publications)."
