Work Description
"When I first arrived, I introduced myself, stating that I had arrived there. The first thing the supervisor said to me, without even saying hello, was 'welcome to hell'." Since 2000, Arnaud Théval has been constructing his artistic project on a social space by developing protocols regarding individuals in the workplace, their training, their questioning. He also works regarding the stereotypes related to collective representations in which trap themselves or are trapped by advocating for policy. He works on universal issue of incarceration with the project The Tiger and the Butterfly, which asks: how do we evoke these space of confinement and the experience of those who organize it ?
