Dean Edmonds has a keen set of eyes (or rather twin set of - he's a spectacle wearer) through which his immediate day-to-day real world surroundings, coupled with a myriad of far-reaching and eclectic sources, are filtered into the works created in his East London workshop. Present in everything he makes is a distinct understanding of material relations that comes only from both designing and making something - hands-on.
