The plates, when shown with the photographs, act as this other level of how the work is thought about, where one piece creates the next. All of these elements--photos, plates, found objects--even though they’re different physically, all become connected through a narrative of what I’m doing and what I want to remember. Instead of making more stuff from new technologies I’d rather see what the possibilities are from what’s left behind, while still using photography as way to document my surroundings and most importantly to remember these things.
