Publisher Note
The volume is the catalogue of the exhibition in Lugano (Villa Ciani, 26 October 2012 10 March 2013). The 128 photographs presented on this occasion by the Museo delle Culture di Lugano, arranged according to a narrative path that allows to specify the different themes and the salient features of photography and the vision of the world by Häberlin, are mostly unpublished, on display for the first time in public and come from the prints of the negatives kept by the Swiss Foundation for Photography of Winterthur, made specifically for the temporary exhibition. To enrich the photographic narrative will be placed along the exhibition a selection of objects of material culture Tuareg from the collections of the National Museum of Anthropology and Ethnology of the Florence University.
