Publisher Note
At the opening of 'Speaking of Which', an early visitor walked away, baffled: ‘Grand mystère’, he said. The gallery had been turned into a cabinet of printed curiosities – books, prints, maps, and posters filled the space. The pieces in the show explored what you could call the visualization of language: mapping notation, shorthand forms, the alphabet, graffiti, the vocabulary of painting, missing things, and so on. Exhibition and book curated by Kasper Andreasen and Louis Lüthi.
