Publisher Note
Max Shaap:
The search of oil and gas offshore continues, unabated.
Dutch companies have been highly efficient in responding to calls for relatively new activities such as the dismantling of old oil and gas production platforms and the construction of offshore wind farms. Much of the equipment that has already proven its value in the oil and gas sector is now also enjoying considerable success in the offshore wind energy sector, for example survey vessels, heavy lifters, crane vessels, cable layers and diving support vessels.
The future for the offshore oil and gas industry still appears rosy for some time to come
