The fifth book from 'The Goodwiller', a collaborative project by Misako Taoka and Shiho Saito that launched in Portland, USA, in 2019.

The project involves sourcing clothes from charity shops, followed by styling, photography, editing, and publishing the results as a book to be presented at book fairs both in Japan and abroad. Each item of clothing is fitted with a 'The Goodwiller' brand tag featuring a serial number before being returned to the same shop.

For their fifth project, they headed to Bangkok and Chiang Mai in Thailand. Thailand is apparently a hub where second-hand clothes from all over the world converge. Much like the Buddhist concept of 'Samsara' (reincarnation), The Goodwiller project becomes part of a cycle, continuously circulating between life and death forever...
A small plastic pocket contains a collection list in the form of an accordion-fold book.
