The small pink cloth-bound book "Titles" archives 166 potential as well as existing titles for artist Lisa Mühleisen's works. "Untitled" is out of the question for Mühleisen's works; awkward puns are literally crossed out. In what form she has already used the titles, she leaves to the imagination and association of the reader. The division into six chapters, "Color," "Form," "Minimal Composition," "Intellectual Safari," "Romance," and "Work and Leisure," provide a theoretical context for this.
As an object, the book is a conceptual and humorous exploration of the relationship between content and form, designation and designated, art historical and biographical references.
The work is available as a Special Edition in an edition of 15 in a cloth-bound, hand-embossed box. The book inside is each individualized with a sticker painting by Lisa Mühleisen, as well as signed and numbered.
