Hank Schmidt in der Beek, born in Munich in 1978, studied at Hochschule für Kunst und Gestaltung, Offenbach and at Académie des Beaux-Arts, Brussels. In 2007 he received the Schindler Scholarship for Los Angeles, and in 2009 he was hounored with the Szpilman Award for ephemeral art. The Berlin-based artist is characterised by his interdisciplinary activities, he is also a poet, publicist of artist books and singer of the band “Das Lunsentrio”. Edition Taube has also published “Große Happen in der 2. und 4. Dimension” as well as various editions. |
