This book documents the experience of the exhibition AND WHAT, FOR EXAMPLE, AM I NOW SEEING? (Autodisporsi). Curated by Paola Clerico, Giulio Figarolo di Gropello and Andrea Pagano di Melito, the exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Giulio di Gropello Collection at the Galleria Continua / Les Moulins, Boissy-le-Châtel, France, from 30 April to 30 September 2017.
The intent of the curators was to determine whether, in this digital age in which information reaches a third of the global population at the speed of the Internet, a short-circuit takes place between the works of a generation of artists born in a “pre-Internet” world and the models of the Z generation of the new millennium.
