Publisher Note
In "Anima Nomade" (poor soul) Francesco Faraci collected a series of shots that originate from Pier Paolo Pasolini and arrive at the ‘arte povera’ photography, observing the social dynamics.
“ I owe everything to Pier Paolo Pasolini, poet, writer, director, heretic. He was, without a doubt, the beacon that traced a route in my personal map of life. His thought allowed the boy I was to discover and to discover himself, to create an identity starting from what I had before my eyes.”
“ The behaviors of girls and boys from the suburbs are “pre-moral”: in them there is no awareness - or, if there is, it is rather nebulous - of the difference between what is good and what is bad. It is not possible to codify their behaviors, their attitude to life, according to the canon of modern societies”.
- Francesco Faraci
Anima Nomade includes images of the suburbs, the province, the South Italy, in particular Sicily and the Mediterranean Sea.
