The Potographic dialogues, as my previous book Dialogues while drawing, are works of art that allow me and the others to leave the limited perspective of an individual self, to enter different selves and see what does not have words, throught a combination of images. With whom I have this dialogue I look for something hidden, potential, invisible whose traces I follow from the surface, where the deep rises. The images, the photos or the drawings connect the visible traces to the invisible ones, to absent things, to desired things, as a fortunate bridge stretching on the void. The visual dialogue creates, by matching two images, a central image, a void offering a border line situation. It is both condition and and birth of every image and an image that can be almost irrepresentable. This paradoxically make it an image able to create any possible imaginary thought having several affective values according to the viever, then projected on the space. The individual can place his hown emptiness more easily than his own matter, stretching out and branching out, and the more emptiness one owns the more he can make or look at his imaginary world.

I Dialoghi fotografici, come il precedente libro Dialoghi disegnativi, sono opere che permettono a me e agli altri di uscire dalla prospettiva limitata di un solo io individuale, per entrare in altri io diversi per vedere ciò che non ha parole, attraverso una combinatoria di immagini. Con chi dialogo cerco qualcosa di nascosto, potenziale, invisibile di cui seguo le tracce dalle superfici, dove emerge il profondo. Le immagini, fotografie o disegni, collegano le tracce visibili alle tracce invisibili, alle cose assenti, alle cose desiderate, come un ponte di fortuna gettato sul vuoto. Il dialogo visivo crea con due immagini affiancate, un’immagine di mezzo, un vuoto, che offre una situazione limite, poiché essa è contemporaneamente condizione e nascita di ogni immagine e immagine al limite dell’irrappresentabile, cosa che la rende paradossalmente un’immagine fondatrice di ogni possibile pensiero immaginario che ha differenti valori affettivi in chi guarda, poi proiettati sullo spazio. Il proprio vuoto l’individuo può disporlo più facilmente della propria consistenza, allungandosi e ramificandosi; e più vuoto uno ha a disposizione, più può fare o guardare nel suo mondo immaginario.
