Flatlands chronicles Adam Jeppesen’s solitary, 487 day journey from the Arctic to Antarctica with a series of hauntingly beautiful and etheric landscape photographs - permanently evading all demarcations of time, space and fixed bearing.
The monograph features 46 masterful off-set reproductions, traditional letterpress text and a handmade, embossed and riveted sleeve out of original 1947 dead-stock fibre carton – same year as the large format field camera utilised by Adam throughout his journey.
