"GCC is an acronym that does not stand for but alludes to the Gulf Cooperation Council, the intergovernmental political and economic partnership that connects six countries in the region. The artist ‘delegation’ or collective GCC was formed in 2013. Its eight members, all of whom have close ties to the Arabian Gulf, are scattered across the globe.
