Publisher Note
LILLE.ME.SOFTLY is a visual diary produced during zero-Editions’ trip to Lille (France) for the Bookmarket #5 fair, promoted by the Institut pour la Photographie in June 2025 as part of the events of the Brazil-France 2025 season. This publication is not a guide, nor a linear portrait of the city, but a drift. A journey made up of visual encounters, photographic accidents, and unexpected juxtapositions. Between old facades and reflections in shop windows, projected shadows and saturated patches of color, Lille appears as a physical place and also as a mental archive, a space where chance interferes, where times and materialities overlap, transforming geography into an assembly exercise.
