Microclimas is a special publication developed on the occasion of zero-Editions participation in the Tijuana Printed Art Book Fair, in Rio de Janeiro and MissRead Art Book Fair 2023, in Berlin.
Publisher Note
A microclimate, defined as a localized area with distinct atmospheric conditions compared to its surroundings, serves as a metaphor for this publication. We've embraced the concept of microclimates as a starting point, weaving together a portfolio showcasing the work of 11 Brazilian artists. Much like these miniature pockets of distinct weather patterns, Microclimas confines their artistic expressions within the limited space of its pages and this first volume presents the work of Fran Favero, Gabi Bresola, Lorenzo Beust, Manolo Carlos, Kim Coimbra, Romy Huber, Osmar Domingos, Romeu Silveira, Mauricio Igor, Nestor Varela and Sarah Uriarte. As you browse the pages of this publication, you'll find a selection of works in which the nuances of color, texture and emotion converge to create distinct atmospheres.
