Publisher Note
"Thoughts on Romance from the Road" is an ongoing project that uses photography to document text interventions on roadside marquee signs. Crayhon travels with her own supply of sign letters and documents each installation before she departs. The phrases exist on the marquees for an indeterminate period of time, making the photographs the sole remnants of the project. Gathering a selection of Crayhon's photographs in sequence, the book creates a kind of romantic poem from the road.
