Tommy Støckel's „Art of Tomorrow and Other Fictions" is a retrospective of Tommy Støckel's work from 2004. In addition to the texts that have accompanied his exhibitions, there are numerous black and white and color illustrations of his work, including his large-scale Styrofoam sculptures and expansive installations. The conscious recycling of old materials and the fragility of the works emphasize Tommy Støckels interest in virtuality, space and time as well as structures and surfaces. He choses to format this retrospective, based on the aesthetics of a paperback of a science fiction novel. Tommy Støckel lives and works in Berlin. He has studied at Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and his exhibitions extend widely across the globe.

Tommy Støckel (*1972 in Kopenhagen) lebt und arbeitet in Berlin. Er hat Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art in Kopenhagen studiert und seine Ausstellungen erstrecken sich weitreichend über den Globus.
