Publisher Note

Over a period of one and a half years, Teresa Peverelli, Jan Kaeser and Philipp Frei successively presented their own creative positions in the same rooms in an old house on Wassergasse in St.Gallen. The selected living spaces are examined in terms of their history, their architectural orientation and their local conditions. In all three artists, the principle of modelling can be recognized, in relation to the architecture as well as to the interventions of the previous artist. After each creative period, the rooms are opened to visitors in order to involve them in discussions.
The texts and images collected in this publication make it possible to experience how living and art spaces mix and how they continue to interact with each other.
