Part 5D. of Oliver Griffin’s expansive project Evaluation of Space takes the form of an essay in pictures and words about the humble fence panel. Recreated here are Griffin’s 14 original hand-prints and proofs from the series.
Oliver Griffin (1983, Boscome, UK) is an artist working with the tensions between photography and the typological. Griffin produces archives of the everyday to be examined and referenced, attempting to subvert perceptions of our ordinary surroundings.
