With “KURATOR 2008/2009” the Gebert Foundation for Culture presents the second publication within the support programme for contemporary art mediation initiated in 2006.
In her series of exhibitions entitled “Berührungspunkte” (Correspondences), stipendiary Fanny Gonella explores the concept of community as a place and space of connections between individuals. The publication, which is designed as a documentary dossier, gathers visual and textual information on the five exhibitions that Fanny Gonella has developed in the context of KURATOR and realized between autumn 2008 and autumn 2009.
In addition to short texts on the exhibitions, general overviews, illustrations of individual works on display and supplementary information, a conversation between the curator and the cultural journalist Daniel Morgenthaler provides an insight into curating and reflects on the interaction between the individual exhibitions.
