Claire Chevrier continues her photographic research around man and his place in the world. After having questioned the space of the large megalopolises of the world, the artist began his photographic research around the business world, with an immersion in the city of Romans (Drôme) then benefited in 2010 from a residency in the Nord Pas-de-Calais managed by the Regional Center of Photography. It is in this context that the photographs in this book were taken. She was thus able to discover and enter the world of large industrial sites, large and small companies, personal assistance associations, work-based assistance centers or even places dedicated to health and care. . A whole field representative of a labor economy that goes beyond simple geographic location. The images she has gathered become emblematic of a Western working world governed by its own scenography, its own places and its own actors. Thus, this immersion allowed him to establish several corpus of images gathered around the ideas of the repetition of gestures, the relationships that are woven between several people or a group in the same space, the relationship between bodies and the tools of production. .
