Publisher Note
Designed like a fashion journal, “Models” shows drawings and sketches of male models from various fashion magazines. By transforming the men into drawings, Anuschka Pfammatter allows herself an extremely subjective view of the fashion magazines of the summer of 1998. By removing the men from the magazines as a woman, she not only appropriates the men, but also occupies herself and her viewers with the clichés of the model man spread by these magazines.
