In 2010 Berlin-based Swiss artist Lukas Hoffmann spent two weeks in the city of Kalesija, in the north-eastern region of Bosnia-Herzegovina. He spent his time there living with locals and photographing his experiences. The beautiful black and white images of picturesque scenery, and intimate portraits of everyday life read as journalistic, or diary-like fragments.
