Notes
Published as part of “Fortsetzung folgt” by Marion Ritzmann / adhesive binding, cardboard book
Publisher Note
The cardboard book “Two Voices for What:” by Quinn Latimer appears as part of the series “Fortsetzung folgt” (to be continued). As the series title suggests, the publication on the artistic work of Marion Ritzmann is designed as an open sequence of individual publications, which are connected and contextualized through the artist’s website as an integral part of the project.
Quinn Latimer’s text “Two Voices for What: A tragicomedy or a romantic comedy or some dinner theatre or ‘just’ liner notes on some sleeve (not of a jacket, no, but on – what – a recording)” refers to the performances “Analog Chat I–III” by Marino Ritzmann and the record “Analog Chat I–III, Sound Piece” also published in the series “Fortsetzung folgt” (to be continued). The text, in the form of a fictional dialogue, appears in a small-format cardboard book, as we know it from picture books for small children; the text becomes a picture, as it were.
