Publisher Note

This publication is being released to mark the exhibition “WOrte” by Albert Coers, Flavio Cury and Günter Nosch at Galerie Markt Bruckmühl, 14 June – 19 July 2026.
Photographs: Albert Coers, Günter Nosch, Flavio Cury; image editing: Flavio Cury, Albert Coers
Flavio Cury’s contribution was supported by the Steiner Foundation, Munich.

The exhibition invites visitors on a poetic quest to explore the fringes of language. The gallery, a 19th-century villa-style country, becomes a stage for text based and site specific works, for installations and experimental art that question our everyday use of language: How are words created, and how do they shape our world? How do we grasp the meaning of writing and language?
To accompagny the exhibition, the artists are publishing a self-designed catalogue. Photographs, lavishly laid out across full or double pages, take the reader on a tour of the exhibition with its often elaborate installations and sculptures, wall works and objects. Rasmus Kleine of the Kallmann Museum in Ismaning provides an introduction to the exhibition.
