The project 1KM stems from an overturned framing. A collection of pictures playing with work places, in order to tell them through a game. The unit of measure of 1KM becomes part of the visual exploration, giving back the identity of an unexpected Italy, varied but still bound to a shared feeling.

Vulcano sparks a constantly changing dialogue, in which company reality and creation of artistic and conflicting contents fade into a single canvas. That is how a project of communication is conceived, ready to speak in a different language to those who will be able to keep an eye out, pushing their eagerness beyond the border established. The camera lens aim at becoming the instrument for exploring the spaces which feed the IT company, looking for elements, places, situations representing the counterweight of the work place.
 
Three famous international photographers, Raimond Wouda (Holland), Céline Clanet (France) and Jan Stradtmann (Germany) have been invited to tell the space for play and social places with a mosaic of 100 photographs which will compose the portrait of our country, of recreational areas, of people going there and of the urban fabric surrounding the best Italian places. The artistic itinerary of the three artists will be led by Gianpaolo Arena, voice of Landscape Stories, international magazine of contemporary photography.

The narration took the shape of a book and of an exhibition-event at Cà dei Ricchi in Treviso thanks to the collaboration with Landscape Stories, Altevie Technologies and TRA.
