Following on from the sold-out first and second edition of Tennis Courts, French photographer Giasco Bertoli presents Tennis Courts III, in an equally stunning photographic series depicting empty and abandoned tennis courts. Some well maintained and some forgotten, Bertoli photographs these melancholy spaces in a style that is slightly esoteric, engendering a special kind of metaphysic relating to the ceremonial combat of organised competitions where freedom and struggle flourish.
