Publisher Note
The artist couple Sabine Lang and Daniel Baumann were guests at the studio of the Istituto Svizzero in Rome in 1997. They invited artists to Rome for a farewell performance. The result was an exhibition at the Opera Paese and the publication “you know my name”.
Juri Steiner writes about the project: For all the artists involved, the world seems like a burial ground. Curiosity turns everything found, whose meaning and purpose seems forgotten, into something that can be reconstructed and re-contextualized with imagination and creative misunderstanding.
